From Margaret -
" The float was wonderful this year, thank you to Dan & Tammy Otto. They headed the float committee & had very little assistance. Their children, the Moran children & one of the Eckstein children were there to assist. Her Mother, Judy Krahn, cut & stapled letters as well as assisted with coloring in. The Otto’s did an enormous amount of work on the very large signs that went the entire distance of the wagon, on both sides! The Hill family donated an old tool box (which Dan painted) & Mary Ellen created & printed out 270 post cards to hand out that she affixed DumDum suckers (to gain adult attention). Scott & I were sitting about a block & a half from the end of the parade route & they had already run out of post cards (we’ll have to do 400 next year). Tammy & Dan purchased over 20# of candy to toss out (their donation). Our family helped a little bit on Friday & before the parade but not a lot was required as the Otto family had most of it completed."
